New Drug Testing Options

You'd have to be living under a rock to have missed the opioid crisis that is gripping our nation.  We wrote about this last month and some of you responded by requesting that we add opioids to the drugs included in your tests.  The federal government has now required that opioids be included in D.O.T. mandated drug tests as well.  Your current tests (D.O.T. or not) already include heroin but they don't include semi-synthetic opioids such as hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone and oxymorphone, more commonly known as Vicodin, OxyContin, Lortab, Norco, Percocet and Dilaudid. For some reason; we haven't been able to find a good answer; fentanyl is not included and the D.O.T. is not mandating it at this time.
